We plan to field individual teams for grades 3-8
We encourage all players that might be interested to try out.
We are looking for the best players to fit our program and represent us at each level.
You don't have to be GREAT at everything basketball.
If you listen, hustle, and play hard defense, you will definitely get our attention!!

General Information
- FABL will field only one (1) boys team per grade level.
- Head coaches will be determined as we get closer to tryouts.
- Teams shall keep no greater than 2 non-FABL affiliated players per roster. Some may keep more and rotate players throughout additional leagues and tournaments, but rosters will contain no fewer than 8 total players.
- Team selection is done through a group evaluation process. There will be multiple evaluators present at tryouts, and they will collaborate regarding selections for each team.
- We anticipate 2 practices per week, each normally lasting 1.5 - 2 hours in length. There will be games on weekends, and possible other nights dependng on any additional leagues.
- Teams normally play, at a minimum, in the Carroll County Boys Basketball League. However, coaches may also entertain playing in other leagues or tournaments outside of the county. These activities will be discussed with the team after selection.
- If a player is not selected, they would return to the list for our REC league, and proceed as directed. If a player chooses to leave the FABL umbrella, they would need to notify us for a refund.
