Travel Teams

Schedules for 2025-2026 will be posted on the respective boys/girls links in August

 

 

 

To Register

  • You register for Travel through the same process as our Intramural (REC) registration.

  • You will have the option to select 'Trying out for a Travel Team' during the registration process.
  • There is no additional fee to try out for a Travel Team, however, those selected will have additional costs to be paid at a later time.
  • If your child IS selected, the league automatically transfers your registration to the associated Travel team.
  • If your child is NOT selected, they will be contacted to participate in our standard Intramural (REC) evaluations to determine team placement.

 

Participation

  • A player CANNOT play for ANY travel team (FABL or other area) and ALSO participate in our REC program.

 

Commitment/Cost

  • There is an additional level of commitment and cost for Travel Team participants.
  • Travel Teams normally practice 2 nights per week for up to 2 hrs per session.  
  • Number of games and locations will vary by team.  Some may participate in several leagues.
  • The additional costs are also based on team, depending on how many games or tournaments they play.

 

Open Gyms

  • When available, open gyms for all travel teams begin mid-late August.

 

 

Try-Outs

  • Normally begin just after Labor Day.
  • Format varies between Boys & Girls
  • A player cannot make a roster if they do not tryout.

 

 

Team Selection

  • Teams will be selected through a group evaluation process.
  • There are program limits on the number of Non-FABL affiliated players who can participate.
